Pre-State-of-the-Union Essay

On Thursday, November 5th, 2009 a US Army psychiatrist killed 13 and wounded 30 others at Fort HoodTexas in an event is now referred to as the Fort Hood Massacre. Major Nidal Malki Hasan, 39, a Muslim, used two handguns and during the process received gunshot wounds from those that tried to stop his Islamic fanatic killing spree.

It soon hit the news media that a military post in the United States had suffered the attack of Islamic Fascism, a terrorist attack, within their ranks. Shocking, but not unique, another attack by a US military Muslim soldier upon fellow troops had also occurred at Camp PennsylvaniaKuwait in June of 2008; however that incident was not coordinated with organized Islamic extremists. In that incident one soldier, a US Army officer, died and fifteen others were injured. It was claimed by Sgt Hasan Akbar’s father that his son was the only African American and only Muslim in his company was out of resentment. In that case a hand grenade was used.

On November 8th, 2009, Senator Joe Lieberman called the Fort Hood massacre an act of Islamist extremism, but President Obama and military Brass in the Pentagon warned not to guess or come to conclusions. As the New York Daily News reported:
Lieberman’s comments were in stark contrast to U.S. Army chief of staff George Casey, who told CNN he’s deeply worried “that the speculation could cause something that we don’t want to see happen.

Probably what will happen is that US soldiers who are not of the Islamic faith will be watching military members who are Muslim with suspicion.
The truth is that US intelligence agencies were aware (like in the case of the Christmas bomber from Nigeria) that …
Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with an individual associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News. According to the officials, the Army was informed of Hasan's contact, but it is unclear what, if anything, the Army did in response. Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said that he requested the CIA and other intelligence agencies brief the committee on what was known, if anything, about Hasan by the U.S. intelligence community, only to be refused. In response, Hoekstra issued a document preservation request to four intelligence agencies. The letter, dated November 7th, was sent to directors Dennis Blair (DNI), Robert Mueller (FBI), Lt. Gen Keith Alexander (NSA) and Leon Panetta (CIA).
After the news broke out of the shooting at Fort Hood, cable/satellite stations covered a press conference at the White House. As NB Chicago wrote:
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner."  Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?

On January 27thBarack Hussein Obama will deliver his first State of the Union address, a self-evaluation of his first year, a customary formal address before Congress and the American people. More Marxist propaganda.
I predict that in that speech there will be the usual words: let me be clear or make no mistake as he follows a teleprompter. He will spin a number of failures and tell the nation we are looking at signs of recoveryGW Bush was saying this the last six months of his second office tenure as president. I see no change there.
He may mention that the greed of Wall Street is to blame, the nation requires affordable health care via the US government and brag about nonexistent job creations by the government. He may use the words of excuse that he inherited this mess, as if he didn’t know the situation at hand and its level of progress toward economic depression, as well as saying he could fix it. It was part of his campaign platform, how can he blame that on his predecessor?
Since Abraham Lincoln our nation hasn’t had such an unconstitutional president that has treated our Constitution and the Rule of Law with such contempt, even worse than the previous two presidents.
The people were warned that Barack Hussein Obama had been mentored as a Marxist and coached by the most corrupt and powerful political machine in this history of US government. But the people still voted for him.
It was shown that Mao-anarchists, William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn were more than casual acquaintances, but the American voters still voted for him.
It was shown that his mentor in Barack’s youth, Frank Marshall Davis, was a communist mentor. But the voters still voted him as our president (and senator previously).
His personal and professional associations with Richard DaleyMichael PflegerKhalid al-Mansour, and Rashid Khalidi was cause to suspect Mr. Obama’s character and integrity; but the voters still voted for him.
His self-proclaimed religious mentor, Jeremiah Wright, who married Barack and Michelle and baptized his children, and whose church the Obama family attended was clearly a racist and anti-American. Mr. Wright stated:
The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color. The government gives black people drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strikes law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, g-d d--- America. G-d d--- America for treating our citizens as less than human. G-d d--- AmericaMr. Wright called America the US of KKK-A and that it is  … controlled by and run by rich white people. Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run. We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in god. And god has got to be sick of this sh-t!
One of the responses by Mr. Obama was:
It sounds like he was trying to be provocative.
Mark Alexander at Patriot Post explained how Barack H. Obama was a pathological narcissist, but people said this was racist and that politicians in general were narcissists.
If one reads his autobiography, one can see that Mr. Obama had a troubled youth, abandoned first by his father and later sent away from his mother to live with grandparents. His home life was dysfunctional, which accounts for him being so fond of his family life with Michelle and his girls. Clearly his youth was a sad state of affairs, but it should not deter the people from seeing his pathological need for power and self-perceived greatness.
The American voter should have been forewarned when Mr. Obama stated:
This is our moment, this is our time to turn the page on the policies of the past, to offer a new direction. We are fundamentally transforming the United States of America.
Mr. Obama promised unity, but people are now reminded of America in 1860 where the rights of states and the people became issues that ripped apart our nation for five years.
A student of Saul Alinsky and his Rules for Radicals, Mr. Obama has worked fervently and advanced the agenda of the Democratic Party to rule central government as an absolute authority.
It is the sociocrat’s economic policies coupled with the compromising and selling out by Republicans that got us into this mess. But on the evening of January 27th, you will not hear a word of this or owing up that his Marxist system failed.
Mr. Obama, along with his associates in Congress, believes that taxing and borrowing will reclaim America. This amounts, thus far, to more than a trillion dollars extracted from the very entities and individuals that provide majority America employment. Like Joseph Stalin, he plunders the private sector that provides economic resources and still claiming that he and his form of government is creating jobs. He has, like his predecessors and ever since the days of FDR when the Federal Reserve Act was enacted, to nationalize the private sector of banking, investment, education, insurance, auto industry and real estate that is conducive to his political party’s agenda of an American version of a socialist state. Instead of being the role of a democratic republic, America is falling in step with the socialist takeover of Europe under the banner of the European Union – and mimicking the failures ensued.
Now, the self-conceived Obama Nation and his cohorts in Congress are trying to harness the largest economic bit of America’s economy, health care, ignoring the fact that they have no constitutional authority.
George W. Bush lied to the American people when he said he would limit government and no sooner did he swear in, he created the Faith Initiative government agency, (Obama never rescinded the Executive Order - Change?) not only failing to fulfill his campaign promise, but also thumb his nose at constitutional law.
Barack H. Obama promised to change all that. He did and if the healthcare legislation passes it will create 111 new oversight bureaucracies. American voters should have considered what Mr. Obama and associates had in mind when they mentioned Change in their campaign.
Despite thousands of scientists (not junk scientists) showing that the climate change consensus is wrong and the findings of Climategate investigations, Mr. Obama continues to spend more tax money and gouge more corporations (who provide the people with jobs) and sign more treaties that will waste taxpayer funding on something useless rather than cutting back on expenditures and getting the national debt drastically reduced.
As, in the beginning of this essay, I pointed out one of the reasons why the American people are worried about national security, and with Mr. Obama and associates in Congress continued push for amnesty for up to 20 million immigrant lawbreakers, it will only worsen. The last two presidents made the same mistake – so where is the change?
Internationally, during the course of American history, we have held our own, but this president bows to Saudi kings, haggles with Islamic fascists, apologizes for things he need not for it is something that occurred in the past, and categorizing a terrorist prisoner of war as a federal criminal to be tried in the liberal court of New York (or Washington, DC) instead of a military tribunal as dictated by the Geneva Accords Convention pertaining to Prisoners of War and Civilians.
Mr. Obama has acted upon his promise of unity by making public assessment of a civic affair involving his friend, Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, by accusing the Cambridge Police of acting stupidly. Then he offers his version of an apology by inviting the publicly ridiculed arresting police officer to the White House for a beer. The officer respectfully refused.

And who can forget the shock and contempt of Barack H. Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize after only 100 days in office to use as a basis for his nomination? I guess bowing to Saudi kings and kissing European socialists’ back sides pays off. It was just as ridiculous when Al Pinocchio Gore won the same award for ‘his’ global warming rhetoric and an Oscar for his documentaryAn Inconvenient Truth turned out just as truthful as Change We Can Believe In.
All of this and Mr. Obama is quoted saying:
I’ve never bought into these Malthusian, woe, Chicken Little, the earth is falling … I tend to be pretty optimistic.
Tell that to the United Nations and the EPA, Mr. President.
On his failed Stimulus Package, tried by his predecessor:
Less than one month after taking office, we enacted the most sweeping recovery package in history, and we did so without any of the earmarks, pork-barrel projects that are usually accompanying these big -- these big bills.
When he orchestrated the auto industry bailout with Union controlling the situation, he stated:
Let me be clear. The United States government has no interest in running GM. We have no intention of running GM
Soon after he ordered the CEO fired.
Or how about this classic, coming from a person who was a community organizing lawyer for ACORN:
You know, it's -- frankly, it's not really something I've followed closely. I didn't even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.
And finally, pertaining to taxes and transparency of government, which was the primary reason for over one million Tea Party protestors in WashingtonDC:
I will tax just the rich. I want to give a tax cut to the middle class.
Yes, let’s raise the taxes of an overtaxed portion of America that provides the other economic classes employment, shall we.
This is the same political element that claimed that Bush lied and thousands died.
Truth of it is, GW Bush saved thousands from Saddam Hussein and Sons Murder Incorporated. After the fall of Saddam’s rule, the silence of the mass graves provided testimony and the loud testimonies of numerous survivors of Hussein’s crimes against humanity were heard around the world; but fell deaf upon the democratic socialists of America.
The complaint that GW Bush administration provided no transparent government was corrected by holding secret, behind-closed-door meetings deciding what is best for the American people – despite polls showing a strong majority against the idea, as well as major protests across the nation and complaints at town hall meetings.
It is true that the election of Scott Brown as senator and filling the vacancy of the late Senator Edward Kennedy was the shot heard around the nation (maybe the world) that the American people have finally awoken to the true agenda of the Democratic Party of the United States. Both traditional parties, DNC and GOP have forgotten the First Principles, as Mark Alexander wrote about in his essay.
It was a blow to the Marxist drive to turn America into a socialist nanny state and it was a victorious battle in the war to reform America back into a Jeffersonian republic. And, yes, as the dated quote relates, we must stay the course and see it through to victory over those who have changed our form of government unrecognizable to its creators. Thomas Jefferson and other patriots throughout our history have warned us repeatedly about pitfalls, those who would, purposefully or not, would go against the Rule of Law and instead Rule of the Mob, who see the government as a piggy bank to rob instead of an entity that protects and maintains our people and our states united.
Thanks to the people of Massachusetts who voted for Mr. Brown and a stern warning to the newly elected senator to keep his promises and stay focused upon principles undeterred by temptation to compromise.
The essence of Government is power; and power, lodged as it must be in human hands, will ever be liable to abuseJames Madison [Part of speech at the Virginia Constitutional ConventionDecember 2nd 1829]
This means that it is the responsibility of the People, the voters, to remain in constant vigil.

Cherish, therefore, the spirit of the people, and keep alive their attention. Do not be too severe upon their errors, but reclaim them by enlightening them. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress, and Assemblies, Judges, and Governors, shall all become wolvesThomas Jefferson

If you want to stop Obama's policies, start replacing senators and representatives in the US Congress. It has already begun with Senator Scott Brown. If politicians no longer listen or take Americans seriously, it is time for them to seek another career.

  1. Actually, this is the kind of profiling I had in mind. Thanks for providing some background information.

  2. A brief mention of profiling in an article about Obama's report card as a president and someone writes about their perception of profiling and provides a link to Anger Management, a liberal-politically correct feature in our society.
John Byrnes provides insight into the subject of profiling on a national security level that he hasn't a clue what the real world is like.
If I WERE to write an essay about profiling, in the sense of intelligence and law enforcement aspects it would not suggest that Islamic Fascists be given anger management classes as the solution of the problem. I would be qualified to write such an essay with 15 years experience of different level military security and intelligence agency operations; unlike Kumbaya psychoanalysts.
First, it is common sense, setting the studies aside, that a person from nations who harbor Islamic Fascists should be under scrutiny over an American elderly person in a wheel chair; however, from SE Asia and other experiences, one would still screen the wheel chair. The issue here is safety and prevention. The very same people who poo-poo the strategy of using profiling in their analysis (and not the main item in analyzing) are the same people who would cry "foul" when a terrorist act occurs. The authorities, in all fairness, are in a Catch-22 situation - "damned if they don't, damned if they do".
As far as you, Mr. Byrnes: I suggest you take yourself over to a jihad camp and try your anger management there. Unfortunately, you will be on video like other civilians as people watch your head removed.
Your psychoanalysis belongs in a big city environment, not when dealing with criminals, serial killers, terrorists and Islamic Fascists.
I noticed you completely ignored the points made about Mr. Obama, as well as those who foolishly voted for him.
