The Texas agriculture commissioner is calling for support from the federal government to protect the farmers and ranchers living along the Texas border with Mexico.

Texas Department of Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples on Wednesday launched the ProtectYourTexasBorder.com to spread awareness of the dangers to state producers and the potential impacts on the nation's food supply.
