In the News: January 28th 2015 - Bergdahl To Face Desertion Trial

Katie PavlichUS Army Sgt. Bowel Bergdahl, who was traded by the Obama administration for five high risk Taliban leaders last year, will be charged with desertion. Retired Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer broke the news on O'Reilly Factor.
"The Army has come to its conclusion, and Bowe Bergdahl, Sgt. Bergdahl, will be charged with desertion. I have been told and confirmed by a few other sources that his attorney was given what we call a charge sheet. A charge sheet is essentially the results of the investigation listing out the articles of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice that have been violated. The key violation is desertion," Shaffer said. "The decision has been made."

No one in Bergdahl's squad defended him and are witness to his desertion, commenting last year in a Fox News Kelly's File interview that they believe he may have purposely sought to find the Taliban. Apparently there was not enough proof for a charge for of treason, so the charge is desertion.

Washington, Associated PressThe Obama administration has ordered immigration agents to ask immigrants they encounter living in the country illegally whether they might qualify under President Barack Obama's plans to avoid deporting them, according to internal training materials obtained by The Associated Press. Agents also have been told to review government files to identify any jailed immigrants they might be able to release under the program.
It is part of Obama's Executive Amnesty where he defies immigration laws and is an unconstitutional act. Nevada and Tennessee now make 26 states that are suing to stop Obama's unconstitutional amnesty.
Coast Guard Cutter TYRAssociated Press … The Icelandic cutter received a report that a freighter was heading toward the coast of Italy with no crew and hundreds of Syrian refugees on board. Smuggler gangs are buying cargo ships destined for the scrap yard on the Internet and then packing them with refugees who will pay between $4,000 to $8,000 each to board a seaworthy cargo ship. The gangs are making millions of dollars in one trip, the ships costing about one half million dollars. In this case, once the freighter was set on a course, it was abandoned by the crew to avoid prosecution for human smuggling.
One of the smugglers' latest innovations is to select refugees with seafaring experience and put them in charge of the ship - offering them a steep discount in exchange for navigating. That means that the traffickers can remain safely ashore.

Obamacare, Patriot Post ...  $2 trillion. That’s what the Congressional Budget Office now says ObamaCare will cost over the next decade
A recent study report reveals that the United States ranks number 12 in economic freedom How sad that we have allowed our government to surpass constitutional law that limits the power and scope of government. Once we were a role model nation. Today, we are basically a laughing stock and because of our broken foreign affair system, not popular anymore.  The Obama economics has hurt the middle class that he continues to say he is supporting.

Read what Sarah Palin said in a Hannity interview concerning Election 2016. If Palin decided to run, she would be a moving target for the media who loves to make her look silly. Combined with the GOP establishment that turned against her after the McCain presidential campaign loss - it would be a tough time. But Palin would certainly be more into sticking to her guns on reform than other potential candidates, except for Rep. Loomis of Wyoming. Palin has the right idea to what it takes to get the USA back on track to being the constitutional republic it was intended and created to be.
